Sitting at a strategic hilltop location along Magsaysay Street, Consolatrix College is the only Catholic private school in Toledo City. For over thirty years now, it has provided Toledo residents secondary level education in a sectarian environment (the school is run by religious sisters).

The school gate faces the east end of Nicolas Rafols street (partly visible in the foreground of this picture). Since the west end of N. Rafols street terminates downhill at the entrance gate of the seaport, Consolatrix College is highly visible from the port area.
